Interesting paintings-- I did not know that Michael de Meng also painted-- have only seen his metal work. how fortunate for you to get to work with him...

Brilliant palettes and wonderful textures Judy. Now how long did the painting last on the arm? What a shame it eventually will go! or did it come off soon after the application?

Your arm looks great in a creepy kind of way ( but I love creepy stuff!).

The painting on the arm came off a few hours later - it was natural pigments.

oooh these look really intriguing Judy, the glow that emanates from the colours and textures is stunning.
Your arm is pretty damn cool, very Aboriginal with that deMeng touch!

ha! how freaky...my word verification is 'judhi'...an exotic spelling of your name perhaps?

Great sneaky peeks Judy. Can't wait to see the whole. I presume (I know don't presume!!!) that this is a little of the inquisition piece tied to your recent travels. Love the fiery colours and glazing effects you've achieved in these sneaks! Oh, and just so you know it's raining here in paradise, LOL! Hope Michael enjoys the red centre! Love the arm do!

I am so happy that you were able to experience Oaxaca... it is one of the heaven's most sacred places here on earth. I have been without my computer for 48 hours due to some technical explosion. Thank you for visiting my small blog...I am truly honored. I visited Australia in 1993 and the spirituality in the landscapes changed my life. Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

That's quite a bit of colour I see there Judy, maybe you should have scanned your arm, then you could print it and do some other wonderful things in photoshop.

Such wonderful colours and texture on your painting Judy, as for Michael's painting - it reminds me of that Ewan McGregor movie where they did calligraphy all over the body - fabulous!! Did he stop at your arm?
