In the newspaper it mentioned that Susan was a carer for her mother up until a couple of years ago when she passed away, so only now has she been able to go for the dream of being a singer. Seeing the show last Saturday evening made you want to shout 'Go on girl!!'

It's so funny to see this here and presented with such a strong command because I've spent part of the afternoon and all evening listening to both of Susan's songs over and over again. My daughter and I have been online talking about Susan and compiling a song list of what else we want to see her sing. So then I really needed a break to wind down for bed so I thought I'd check in here for some inspiration for the steampunk doll art journal I'm making. Trusting you to have my best interest at heart when you said go I did.....too funny ;-)

I am amazed, awed, and inspired by your artwork and your blog. Red Velvet is on my favorites list and I've been grooving on your stuff for a long time! I really love the artistic style that has emerged from Australia. From scrapbooking to the more serious art like yours - and jewelry too - it has a certain depth and awareness of history that is different from the usual American stuff. I can see your work having an impact on mixed media artists everywhere.
