Books Galore:

I have had to sideline the other book that I was doing for a commission.

But just prior to that I had to produce some pages for an artists book round robin I am participating in. With that done it is now time for me to embellish the following book.

Here are some images of another book in the making.

Everything starts from scratch including finding the appropriate antique book.

I used signatures this time from another book.

A book within a book.

Don't know where I would be without my trusty awl.

Cutting the book board is very tough on my hands which are still not the same since finishing “Numbers”.
Workshops:

Well the world of Art Workshops seems to be inching closer to Australia.

I am doing some myself in May - looking forward to those.

Michael's friend Traci Bautista will be doing a workshop with Archangel Productions in Bali in March this year.

The venue looks amazing.

Check it out!

Archangel Productions, in particlar Staci are the organisers who brought Michael and I together in Cortona.

Going back to Cortona in September hopefully and meeting up with about hald the gang who were there the last time - should be a real blast.
Ciao, better get cracking on finishing this book.

Judy - It was obvious beshert that the first time I pick up a copy of CPS, you should be a featured artist. It is so good to see really Jewish art being spotlighted. My grandparents are survivors, and your pieces touched me. Thank you for bringing some beauty and heart to the topic.

make sure to stretch those hands, I do the praying hands yoga pose (with hands behind my back at least every half hour when I work and make sure to stretch out my arms a lot in between as I have some major hand issues.

The start of your new book is so inspiring!

I read your CPS artical and you know right when you were working on all those projects was when we meet, so reading it was like almost looking into the past :)

Judy: Karen Cole has been showing me your work for quite some time now and I am completely taken by the depth of your art. What a way to preserve our heritage, and transform it into something that touches us all and moves us into the future. I look forward to seeing more of your work and meeting you in person in Cortona! So sorry to hear that you were broken in to - (((judy)))

I don't think I told you how beautiful the CPS article was, while the story was not new to me I was so impressed by the integrity of the article and the wonderful colaboration.
