"DEM BONES"
Who has the coolest plaster cast in Sydney?
All those who attended the Artistic Journey Retreat last weekend will know that my daughter broke her arm whilst I was away. Despite it being very difficult not being there with her at the time and being the ever so worried mother whilst she was having surgery, the promise from Michael to paint the cast put a smile both on her face and mine.

So today the promise was fulfilled by Michael.
Here is the result...

AND NOW FOR THE OTHER SIDE ...

Who would have thought a heat gun and plaster went so well together?

As you know Michael is really big into the Mexican "Day of the Dead" so have gave her broken bones a little life. For more information on the Day of the Dead and all the symbols used you can go to Michael's blog or website.
Funny how many ladies at the retreat wanted to break their arms - lol.

Wow, that looks fabulous, all the kids at your daughter's school will be breaking their arms and queueing up at your place. I'd love to see the look on the doctor's face when she has it removed, that will become a collector's item.

Gee I must remember not to break my arm if Michael isn't visiting..lol...looks superb :)

You will have to keep it and do something arty with it afterwards :)

OMGosh this looks fantastic! Poor cherub, give her a kiss from me, although I suspect she is lapping all the attention up for now until the novelty wears off. I see Michael has his own creative space!

Thats very special - there may be a whole lot of small people and big breaking a leg to get one of those customised wearable art peices!
Having finally remembered how to create a link, you and michael will be inundated with new readers!

Awesome cast Judy! Seems like you, Michael and the gang had a lovely time before they all flew back to the States. There are some great photos there!
Thanks so much for all your support during the Retreat! And yes, we most probably will be getting Nina back again....
